For our client, an international company from the professional services industry, we are looking for the person for the position:

Accounting Specialist 

Location: Warsaw 

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, processing, and identifying automation defects relating to Supplier invoices in accordance with the standard process guidelines.
  • Guaranteeing Payment Accuracy - Striving for 0% error rate on payments
  • Reviewing and identifying the reason for the failure of automation as per the standard process guidelines
  • Proactiveness and continuous focus on process automation - Applying human intelligence to bridge the gaps in process automation
  • Reviewing & auditing Supplier payments that cannot be automated through the platform
  • Performing tasks in accordance with any statutory, legal, and client-specific requirements
  • Auditing and processing all required payments within the defined service level agreement
  • Adhering to data integrity and confidentiality requirements as per the company policy
  • Providing an accurate and timely responses to customers regarding payments
  • Understanding company internal customer needs and identifying opportunities to ensure customer service is provided at a high standard
  • Interacting with internal and external contacts to discuss information and probing for clarification
  • Exercising judgment and initiative relying on established processes and practices for problem solution

    Requirements:

  • Higher education, preferably in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics 

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position

  • Strong Microsoft Literacy with Windows and the Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook  

  • Proactiveness and engaged attitude 

  • Strong focus on results and  a high attention to detail

  • Effectively track progress and follow up 

  • Present good command of English (at least B2 level)

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Self-starter with proven ability to work remotely
