The company for which the recruitment is being conducted is part of one of the largest European insurance groups and belongs to a global financial organization.
The Polish branch operates as a competence center, supporting operational and reporting processes for German-speaking countries.
Teams based in Poland have a real impact on improving financial processes on an international scale and support key business decisions across the entire group.
Responsibilities

Preparation and updating of financial statements and accounting analyses in accordance with international standards (such as IFRS and HGB)

Participation in the preparation of management and financial reports used, among others, by the supervisory board

Analysis of financial data and assessment of deviations from budget assumptions

Support in the preparation of regulatory reports and documents related to the ESG area

Cooperation with auditors and other departments as part of reporting and financial statement projects.
Requirements

Very good knowledge of German (minimum C1 level) and fluent communication in English
-
University degree in a relevant field (accounting, economics, finance, business mathematics, or related disciplines)

Practical experience in financial reporting or auditing, preferably in an international environment
-
Knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS, HGB, or regulations related to the solvency of financial institutions
-
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear and transparent reports
-
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and analytical tools will be a strong advantage.
