GL Accountant

Scope of duties:

• Record supporting information for journal entries
• Enter journal entries into the accounting software
• Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on monthly basis
• Support auditors with yearly financial audit
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual statistical reports
• ICO loans posting and reconciliation
• Run FX valuation
• Run AR Aging and reconciliation to general ledger
• Posting and reconciliation of vendor debit/customer credit balances
• Preparation of calculation for accruals, posting and reconciliation
• Record fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system
• Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed
• Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the general ledger
• Run depreciation for all fixed assets
• Work closely with the other departments in tracking project costs in comparison to their budgeted projections

What we want:

• Minimum 1 year experience with a GL accounting background
• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting, finance or similar field
• Communicative in English (min. B2+)
• Flexibility in adaptation to fast changing working environment
• Analytical mindset
• Ability to solve problems independently
• Ability to take ownership of processes and accounts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
