Golang Developer – Secrets Management (Contract, Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join a global initiative aimed at transforming Identity and Access Management practices, focusing on the development of strategic Secrets Management solutions. This role will be part of a cross-functional team working on a key global project aimed at enhancing Secrets Management and Workload Identity capabilities.
Responsibilities:

Work alongside solution architects to implement new solutions for a global Secrets Management initiative.

Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the solution integrates with existing and strategic solutions while adhering to control frameworks.

Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables, and escalate issues to the team lead when necessary.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Development.
-
Strong expertise in Golang programming.
-
Experience in developing and consuming APIs and building web-based applications.
-
Solid understanding of cryptography principles.
-
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Experience with DevOps tooling, including CI/CD and Jenkins.

Proficient in version control tools, particularly Git.
-
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
-
Strong ownership mindset, with a proactive, "can-do" attitude.

Good understanding of performance and security considerations in software development.
Desirable Skills:

Experience working with HSMs (Hardware Security Modules).

Knowledge of M2M OIDC (Machine-to-Machine OpenID Connect).

Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Proficiency in developing REST APIs and clients.

Experience writing password management plugins for Secrets Management or PAM (Privileged Access Management) tools.

Familiarity with Linux and virtualization technologies.

Understanding of secrets management and workload identity principles.

Proficiency in other programming languages such as Node.js, Java, and Python.

Experience writing technical documentation (e.g., LLDs, release notes).

Ability to automate development activities.
