Tasks:

  • Develop and sustain the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards (including: ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA  if  applicable), and business policy and procedure requirements, and customer requirements across areas of responsibility. Manage the internal audit program and internal audit team.  Liaise with external audit certifying bodies to ensure successful external audits.  Participate in continuous improvements activities in association with global quality systems structure.  Manage document control process at site level.                                                        
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance                            
  • Responsible for ensuring the right level of QMS based on the objectives and targets.                                                        

Responsibilities:     

  • Manage and liaise with external registration bodies to meet requirements and maintain registration
  • Implement all relevant requirements as described in the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensure that site procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate lessons learned from quality concerns to organization
  • Introduce new systems and procedures where appropriate
  • Train others in aspects of the quality management system
  • Manage site internal audit program
  • Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non conformities found
  • Verify closure of non conformities with Certification Bodies
  • Manage site nonconformities in audit data base
  • Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
  • Produce written reports and make presentations
  • Undertake continuous training and development
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the organization
  • Hold responsibilities as Product Safety Conformity Representative PSCR
