For our client, a recognized company in the service sector, a leader in its industry, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Financial Reporting Manager.

Objectives of the position:
- This role is reporting to Group CFO working closely with Head of controlling.
- Financial Reporting Manager manages and oversees the preparation and distribution of all periodic financial statements for external use.
- Ensures that reports, filings, and documentation comply with company's and investor regulations, professional standards, Polish GAAP and IFRS reporting guidelines.
- Leading all aspects of Group financial reporting ensuring high quality and timing.
- Technically strong and motivated individual with capability to lead & develop accounting and tax direct reports.
- Building high quality Financial Reporting function for the group.
- Leading annual financial statements audit process for multiple subsidiaries and the consolidation for the Group.
- Oversee and lead the preparation of annual Financial Statements prepared under Polish Accounting Standards and IFRS.
- Leading the tax office for the Group
- Oversee the tax and KNF information filings for the group
- Creating a tax strategy including MDR, Transfer Pricing for the Holding company and all subsidiaries.
- Leading financial statements preparation in all subsidiaries (including abroad).
- Leading post-merger accounting integration and external financial reporting.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the timely completion of year-end financial statement audits for the Group
- Responsible for managing deadlines and deliverables associated with client assistance requests from external auditors, including the audited financial statements.
- Manage the timely and accurate preparation of enterprise wide interim and year-end financial statements
- Leading the implementation of capitalization of internally developed projects across the whole Group.
- Developed and implement the comprehensive guidance for capitalization across the Group.
- Manage the filing process of the Polish Statutory Financial Statements and IFRS financial statements
- Responsible for researching and resolving technical and general accounting matters including implementation of new accounting standards.
- Collaborates with other team members to ensure effective internal controls, accounting policies and procedures are followed and documented as needed.
- Identify, document, and implement financial reporting process improvement.
- Serve as a technical accounting resource for team members throughout the enterprise.
- Effectively manage relationships with internal and external auditors.
- Responsible for managing deadlines and accuracy of other mandated filings
- Lead and develop a team of Chief Accountant and financial reporting team members.
- Leading the processes implementation in accounting and internal control
- Leading the automation process in accounting – implementing bots and automation
- Leading the new accounting system implementation – ERP.
- Supporting the finance team on various transactions including mergers and acquisitions, debt offerings, new product initiatives, adoption of new standards, and other general corporate accounting matters
Candidate profile:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Big 4
- Very good knowledge of ENGLISH (reporting and communication within the group is done in English)
- Strong Excel skills
- Polski Biegły Rewident or ACCA qualified
- Highly developed analytical skills
- University degree, preferably in accounting
- Accustomed to working in detail, accurately in a demanding, high paced organization
- Comprehensive and current understanding of IFRS, including recently issued accounting pronouncements, and stock exchange reporting principles and regulations
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and internal control frameworks
