Chief Accountant - SSC Manager
As the Chief Accountant - SSC Manager, you will ensure smooth and compliant operations across accounting, payroll, administration, and internal control systems for the Group. You will lead the SSC team to provide high-quality accounting and administrative services for Polish entities within the Group, with a focus on efficient management reporting and adherence to tax regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee tasks arising from contracts with Polish Group companies.
- Recruit, lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve set objectives, KPIs, and SLAs, ensuring effective performance and task execution across the organization.
- Organize accounting and financial reporting structures.
- Ensure the legality, accuracy, and integrity of economic operations and related documents.
- Supervise the document flow for accounting purposes.
- Monitor and oversee accounting tasks across the organization.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial, tax, and statistical reports in line with legal standards.
- Lead budget planning and implementation of financial strategies.
- Communicate with key representatives in regional and international units, representing the SSC in discussions with major business partners and external contractors.
- Propose and implement organizational and system improvements based on evolving legal, client, and institutional requirements.
- Participation in international projects.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's Compliance Program, including oversight of irregularity resolution and adherence by team members.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant in a Polish production company.
- Strong managerial skills to lead a diverse team and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Knowledge of Polish Accounting Standards and International Accounting Standards.
- In-depth knowledge of finance and tax regulations and SSC operations.
- Book-keeping certification required.
- Fluent English.
