Responsibilities:
- Gathering data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external sources
- Performing data analysis to identify patterns, trends
- Translation of complex data analysis into business strategies
- Developing and maintaining statistical models to forecast future business metrics
- Continuously improve models based on new data and changing business conditions
- Analysing market trends, customer demand patterns, promotional activities, and other relevant factors to identify drivers of demand and potential risks or opportunities
- Utilizing statistical models, SKU segmentation, PLM (product life cycle management), historical data, and market insights to develop accurate demand forecasts for products across European markets
- Creating regular and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders
- close cooperation with other business lines and departments to align demand forecasts with business needs
Requirements:
- University degree in business, finance, supply chain management, statistics, mathematics, economics, data science or related
- min. 2 years of experience in data analysis, forecasting, or in similar position
- experience with statistical analysis and modelling techniques
- experience in demand planning or supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset
