Engineering Practice Specialist – DevOps / CI/CD
📍 Kraków | Hybrid Work | B2B contract

We’re looking for forward-thinking professionals to help scale modern engineering practices across the organization. As an Engineering Practice Specialist, you will play a critical role in shaping the way our engineering teams build, deliver, and operate software — with a focus on DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, and quality.

About the role:

You will be part of a central engineering enablement group that partners with cross-functional product and platform teams. Your mission: to promote high standards, remove blockers to DevOps adoption, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Champion engineering best practices across development teams

  • Implement and govern robust SDLC processes aligned with industry standards

  • Support traceability, auditability, and automation throughout the development lifecycle

  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps principles

  • Identify technical challenges and skill gaps; enable upskilling and capability-building

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and community-building (e.g., workshops, meetups, internal forums)

  • Promote reusability and knowledge transfer across teams

  • Define KPIs and measure the effectiveness of engineering initiatives

  • Help shape and evolve engineering standards through collaboration and influence

What you bring:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of the following domains:

    • Software Development (secure coding, clean code, SDLC, APIs)

    • Testing (TDD/BDD, test automation, contract/API testing)

    • Site Reliability Engineering (observability, release engineering, risk management)

  • Deep expertise in CI/CD tooling and best practices

  • A generalist mindset with the ability to solve complex problems across domains

  • Strong communication and influencing skills — technical and non-technical audiences alike

  • Ability to work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver tangible results

  • Passion for developer experience, engineering quality, and DevOps culture

Nice to have:

  • Experience in developer advocacy or building developer communities

  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Background in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare)

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)

What we offer:

  • A collaborative environment focused on continuous learning and improvement

  • High-impact projects at scale

  • Flexibility in work style and location (hybrid or remote)

  • Competitive compensation and long-term engagement

  • Access to training, certifications, and modern tech stack

  • A culture built on autonomy, trust, and engineering excellence
