General Ledger Accountant
Location: Wroclaw
Responsibilities:
- Support accounting process for one of company's entities operations
- Perform other related accounting duties as assigned
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly and year end close and financial reporting information
- Registering purchases of fixed assets in SAP/ Knowledge of fixed assets
- Prepare and document journal entries and reconciliations relating to balance sheet accounts
- Prepare account reconciliations for assigned areas in a timely manner
- Work with other departments and international teams to obtain necessary information to create monthly/quarterly accruals
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the GL process
- Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards
- Strong communication skills and fast learning ability required
- Knowledge of MS Office applications and Accounting/ ERP System (SAP experience)
- Communicative English is mandatory
