GL Accountant with English
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute month/quarter/year-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee accounting processes, focusing on balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Resolve discrepancies and collaborate with stakeholders to maintain clean balances.
- Optimize financial accounting processes and drive process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, statutory regulations, and GAAP principles.
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance.
- Apply LEAN methodologies to enhance efficiency in financial operations.
- Maintain and update desktop procedures for financial processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Economics, or a related financial field.
- At least 1 year of experience in General Ledger accounting.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience with SAP; knowledge of Hyperion, Cadency, or SAP S4 Hana is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
- Self-motivated with a team-oriented mindset.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
