Responsibilities:
- Financial statement analysis and data accuracy control: Ensuring compliance of financial data with applicable accounting standards.
- Month- and year-end closing processes: Participating in period-end closing procedures, including interim closures.
- Cost and revenue control, booking of reserves: Managing entries related to costs, revenues, and reserves.
- Decreeing and posting of documents: Handling and posting accounting documents.
- Issuing invoices: Preparing and sending invoices to customers.
- Reconciling and confirming balances: Verifying the accuracy of balances with external partners.
- Participation in the preparation of financial reports: Collaborating on the creation of financial statements.
- Improving reporting and forecasting tools: Implementing improvements to increase work efficiency.
- Supporting the accounting team: Participating in projects and providing ongoing support to the team.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in GL accounting.
- Languages: Proficiency in German and English at a C1 level.
- Knowledge: Good understanding of financial issues and the operation of the General Ledger.
- Knowledge of SAP and Excel
- Willingness to develop and share knowledge and experience with colleagues
