GL Team Leader with English

Your Responsibilities:

• Posting a variety of accounting entries
• Reviewing documents and ensuring the accuracy of postings
• Liaising with the Client's CFO
• Handling the submission of tax declarations (VAT, CIT)
• Preparing analyses and reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Submitting reports and statements to external institutions (US, GUS, NBP, Intrastat)
• Creating accruals and deferrals, actively participating in the month-end close process
• Providing substantive support to the accounting team – motivating, training, P&L, etc.

Our Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in GL accounting and at least 1 year in team management
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of German is an additional asset
• Commitment and proactivity (mandatory)
• Openness to potential process changes
• Experience in the preparation of financial statements and reports to financial institutions
• Willingness to work during period-end closings (monthly and annual) according to the client's closing calendar (mandatory)
• Desire to develop and share knowledge and experience with colleagues
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel
