Key responsibilities:
- Deployment of Windows OS to ~4000 End User Devices via AutoPilot.
- Deployment of software packages to ~4000 End User devices via
Company Portal. - Deployment of updates to End User Devices and Servers.
- Creation and administration of Intune components (configuration and
compliance profiles, security baselines, conditional access etc.) - Administration of MDM for iPhones via Intunes.
- Migration of Group Policies to Intune.
- Administration of Windows Servers, running core IT applications and
functions. - Work in tandem with SysOps Administrators and Engineers to provide 2nd
level support for ServiceDesk tickets and ensuring full coverage of
vacation periods. - Working closely with other members of the IT Infrastructure Team and
wider IT team to ensure critical hardware and services are robust and
highly available. - Liaise with 3rd parties and hosting partners to ensure critical systems and
services are robust. - Ensure responsible systems and services are monitored effectively with
SolarWinds. - Provide support and advice to operational infrastructure teams to enable
efficient operation and problem resolution. - Define, create, maintain, and enhance systems procedures.
- Lead and participate in international IT projects.
- Generating reports and presentations for senior management.
Skills / requirements:
- 5 years’ experience in IT hardware & IT Ops support.
- 2 years’ experience in Intune.
- Previous experience of Intune (MDM, EUD Conditional Access and Policies) and AutoPilot Deployments (Windows 10 and/or 11) is desired.
- Previous experience of Windows Server 2016+ (installation, patching, managing, troubleshooting & upgrading.)
- Previous experience of Linux advantageous.
- Previous experience of Windows based products and services (Active Directory, BitLocker, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell, WSUS, SQL, RDS.)
- Understanding of LAN/WAN network technology. Knowledge of protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, TFTP, DNS, SSH.) •
- Experience in supporting a global, distributed, multi-language environment.
- Experience in using a ticketing system.
- Experience as working as part of a project team. S
- MS Office skills including Word, Excel (intermediate level), Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
- Ability to work with people in multicultural & cross functional environments.
- Ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in a LAN/WAN environment, supporting multiple locations and a 1,000+ end user environment. •
- IT related higher education qualification.
- Driving License.
