Plant Manager

Plant Manager

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage all operation activities in plant
•  Assure results on safety, quality, service and cost
•  Guaranty of a safe working environment and make sure the operations performed are protecting the environment
•  Representing the company in the local ecosystem in front of local official authorities
•  Being in charge of relationship with the local unions
•  Responsibility for customer experience improvement, engaging the team on continuous improvement actions
•  Being responsible for manufacturing costs, activating actions to reduce costs and achieve savings
• Delegating plant assignments and job schedules
• Incorporating and maintains safety observances, ensuring guards and safety features are working
•  Providing of training and leadership to plant colleagues
• Communication of goals and objectives, appling company policy, staffs, trains, coaches, recommends salary increases, motivate colleagues and reviews the performance of colleagues

 

Requirements:

• University degree in Economics or Engineering
•  Polish native speakers
• Previous experience in similar Plant Manager or Production Management roles, gained in heavy industry (steel, large-scale structures) or at least in automotive industry
• Previous experience with the manufacturing of a product with a high level of complexity, where safety and quality are key
• Very good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
• Change management skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Industry knowledge and understanding of design and engineering, preferably including project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of projects execution
• The ability to travel domestic and international
