We’re seeking a hands-on Principal Software Engineer to lead architectural decisions, drive the transition to cloud infrastructure, and implement microservices at scale.

Our internally developed logistics ecosystem includes web applications, mobile tools for couriers and warehouse staff, and backend systems capable of handling millions of parcels daily. Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering and product delivery experience, with deep knowledge of algorithms and distributed systems.

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience with microservices architecture.

• Solid experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud migration strategies.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills in English.

• Polish language skills are a nice-to-have.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Migration:

• Define and lead the cloud migration strategy, roadmap, and execution.

• Design scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using native cloud services.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system transitions.

• Optimize cloud resource usage for performance, availability, and cost.

Microservices Architecture:

• Drive the adoption of microservices using modern software engineering principles.

• Establish best practices and standards for service development and monitoring.

• Work with development teams to design fault-tolerant and scalable systems.

• Mentor engineers on architectural patterns and distributed system design.

Technical Leadership:

• Serve as a subject matter expert on cloud and microservices architecture.

• Participate in code and architecture reviews, providing technical direction.

• Stay current on industry trends and bring new ideas into the organization.

• Support cross-functional teams in implementing best-in-class solutions.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

• Communicate complex technical ideas clearly to diverse audiences.

• Foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment across global teams.
