Purchasing Manager with German (Indirect)

Responsibilities:

• Identifying new projects and analyze the existing supplier base;
• Responsibility for conducting Group-wide tenders, evaluating bids, negotiating prices, quantities, delivery and payment terms, and concluding contracts in the defined commodity group;
• Initiating, implementing and reporting on cost optimization projects and synergy potentials in Group companies;
• Structuring and optimizing the supplier portfolio;
• Continuous improvement of purchasing processes in cooperation with local business units (including Finance and Controlling);
• Defining and controlling the procurement and execution process in accordance with corporate goals and needs;
• Responsibility for strategic and operational support of the marketing commodity group.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience;
• Very good knowledge of German (good level of English will be a plus);
• Higher education;
• Knowledge of MS-Office and experience with SAP R/3; 
• Process-oriented work, determination and result-orientation;
• Negotiation skills with necessary persuasion and communication skills;
• Personal initiative, teamwork and cross-cultural competence.
