Key Responsibilities:

  • Track and analyze upcoming regulatory changes within the EMEA region.
  • Assess product compliance with applicable chemical regulations.
  • Focus on chemical control laws across EMEA, including but not limited to EU REACH, UK REACH, KKDIK, and similar frameworks.
  • Gather, review, and prepare compliance-related data and documentation to support regulatory systems and customer requests (e.g., Tonnage Coverage Certificates, REACH Conditions of Supply).
  • Identify potential risks and business opportunities associated with existing and emerging regional and national legislation.
  • Lead and coordinate projects to address new regulatory requirements, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
  • Maintain regulatory data in IT systems such as REACH-IT, IUCLID, IA, and SAP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve regulatory shipping restrictions.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline compliance processes.
  • Collaborate with R&D, procurement, logistics, and technical teams to verify regulatory compliance of suppliers, raw materials, and product shipments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory representatives.

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field (alternative qualifications considered based on experience).
  • 3–10 years of hands-on experience with EU REACH, including raw material management, dossier submissions, substance tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Strong ability to work both independently and within international teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
