💼 Senior Python Automation Engineer
📍 Location: Hybrid – Kraków (2 days/week in the office)
💰 Rate: 190–220 PLN/h B2B
About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Automation Engineer to lead the design and development of automation solutions and data products. You will play a key role in identifying automation opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering scalable, high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid role based in Kraków, requiring on-site presence twice a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for automation and design/build end-to-end solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements and deliver optimal automation and data solutions.
- Independently propose and implement solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Promote and embed technical standards across the team.
- Mentor and support other developers in Python best practices and solution design.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience, including at least 7 years with Python (3.x).
- Strong experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions using design thinking principles.
- Hands-on experience with streaming data pipelines using PySpark, Apache Beam.
- Familiarity with Beam runners such as Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Google Cloud Dataflow.
- Exposure to reporting/analytics tools like QlikSense or QlikView.
- Experience with CI/CD automation in a DevOps environment.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
Nice to Have
- Experience in cloud environments (GCP preferred).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
