Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer, who will be able to join a project of our client — a global digital payment technology company (client’s name could be disclosed only during the next interview stage).

Scope of the work is:

• Leverages relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.
• Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the support and functionality of applications under minimal guidance.
• Applies best practices in configuring and troubleshooting software applications, systems, databases, and associated devices.
• Collaborates with others to support and ensure the stability of critical applications.
• Analyzes simple application performance concerns that threaten application functionality and applies knowledge and tools to verify assumptions

The Skills required:

• Strong technical skills in Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Tomcat, Ngnix, DB2 / MYSQL
• Energy and Experience: A growth mindset that is curious and passionate about technologies and enjoys challenging projects on a global scale
• Customer Service:  Customer support on merchant escalated issues specific to applications (e.g. increased latency, transactional issues, features not working as encouraged, etc.)
• Language Expertise: Expertise in one or more general development languages (e.g., Java, Python)
• Support:  Experience supporting modern services and web applications on Linux and or Windows environments.
• Learner: Constant drive to learn new technologies such as Dev-ops platforms, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Partnership: Experience collaborating with Product, Test, Dev-ops, and Agile/Scrum teams
