About the role
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity DevSecOps Tech Consultant to support the transformation and security of enterprise-scale technology platforms within a global financial environment.

This position focuses on enabling secure-by-design practices, improving engineering standards, and integrating cybersecurity tools across complex systems. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical expertise with a strategic mindset and has a passion for continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement across cybersecurity and technology teams

• Provide technical leadership and support Agile project delivery

• Improve observability, monitoring, and automation of cybersecurity services

• Ensure infrastructure security through patching, vulnerability remediation, and configuration control

• Define and promote best practices for secrets management, logging, and secure code development

• Support integration of cybersecurity tools with platforms and infrastructure

• Act as a subject matter expert for hosting platforms and cybersecurity applications

• Lead innovation initiatives (pilots, proof of concepts)

• Prepare teams for upcoming changes in controls, tools, and ways of working

• Support accurate sprint, epic, and release planning

• Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs across security and IT

• Write and maintain technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with internal security and change management standards

• Mentor and guide team members in technical and procedural areas

Required skills and experience

• 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure roles within Agile environments

• Strong experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving change

• Demonstrated expertise in some of the following areas:

  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)

  • CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, Git)

  • Monitoring and logging (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics)

  • Secrets management (e.g., Vault)

  • Linux and Windows administration

  • Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud)

  • Enterprise networking, firewalls, and secure architecture

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services)

• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Familiarity with Python, ServiceNow, and ITIL is a plus
