Energy Storage Project Development Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of BESS projects, from concept through commissioning, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Direct and oversee feasibility studies, site identification, technical due diligence, permitting, interconnection, and environmental assessments.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams (engineering, procurement, legal, finance) and coordinate with external partners, including contractors, grid operators, and regulators.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies and resolving issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years focused on renewable energy, ideally in BESS or energy storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies, grid integration, permitting frameworks, and utility-scale project development.
- Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
