Responsibilites:
- Supporting the accounts payable team with inquiries about travel and time recording
- Preparing monthly management accounts according to IFRS for Germany
- Reconciling balance sheet items and accruing accounts
- Preparing annual financial statements
- Providing support during audits
- Coordinating tax reports
- Submitting local advance VAT returns
Requirements:
- Qualifications as a tax clerk or financial accountant, or a university degree in accounting and/or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in finance/accounting
- Knowledge of German tax regulations
- Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluency in both German and English
- Ability to work independently and proactively
