IT Business Manager
 

Location: Kraków

Contract Type: B2B

Salary: 140PLN/hour - 150 PLN/hour 

Hybrid: Twice from the Krakow office, three days remotely

 

Job Description Summary:

This role plays a key part within the Messaging Business Management team, leading activities related to resourcing for multiple teams in a dynamic Technology environment. Responsibilities include delivering accurate data across various workstreams, reporting to the Messaging Value Stream, and collaborating with the broader Business Management function. The role ensures senior management decisions support the achievement of strategic objectives, with a primary focus on workforce management, governance, and reporting.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the entire 3rd party engagement process.
  • Managing resource-related activities with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Handling the process of role allocation and creation, status reporting, and addressing key metrics.
  • Supporting cloud-related activities from a Business Management perspective.
  • Ensuring effective resource utilization and aligning resource supply with demand.
  • Tracking workforce supply changes and documenting progress against targets.
  • Ensuring adequate funding for resources from various customer funding sources.
  • Investigating workforce-related queries.
  • Assisting Messaging teams with escalations and ad-hoc requests.
  • Collaborating closely with the central Workforce Management and Finance Teams.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operational, workforce, planning, or financial management roles.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of workforce management processes and governance.
  • Ability to handle tasks proactively and simplify complex data for various stakeholder levels.
  • Familiarity with the 3rd party engagement process.
  • Understanding of IT financial concepts (CTB/RTB, direct costs vs charges).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to metrics, and the capacity to balance detailed and big-picture views.
  • Experience working globally across time zones, geographies, and with remote teams.
  • High motivation and the ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Pioneer, Discover, GPDM, Clarity, HIBS, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
