For our Client, manufacturing company located in Legnica, we are looking for SSC Manager to lead a small team and coordinate accounting processes. Please share your resume in English. 

Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of a team of about 20 people
  • Cooperation in the construction of the Shared Services Center for Polish and foreign companies
  • Supporting Group Companies in the proper functioning of accounting processes in AP and AR processing, Treasury and Fixed Assets
  • Participate in the development and updating of procedures and processes
  • Collaborate with the CFO, Management Board and the Group
  • Monitor and supervise the proper circulation of electronic accounting documents
  • Collaborate in adapting the SAP program to current accounting and tax regulations
  • Ongoing monitoring of changes in legal and tax regulations
  • Cooperation with external institutions (US, NBP, Auditors, banks, etc.)
  • Preparation of shareholder and management resolutions
  •  Reporting KPIs to the supervisor and the board of directors
  • Monitor and control bank guarantees
  • Drafting insurance events in accordance with Group standards
  • Oversee insurance policy for Polish companies in cooperation with broker and head office
  • Oversee the settlement of large investments in Polish companies
  • Prepare presentations for the needs of superiors

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position min. 5 years
  • Higher education in the field of accounting and taxes
  • Very good knowledge of accounting and financial issues
  • Leadership skills and ability to engage others
  • Practical knowledge of SAP software
  • English - advanced level (C1)
  • Knowledge of MS Office package, especially Power Point and Excel
  • Ability to organize own and team work very well
  • Ability to think analytically and solve problems
  • Communication skills at a high level
  • Goal orientation and ability to work effectively within tight deadlines

Nice to have:

  • Experience in building Shared Service Center structures
  • Experience working on projects
