The Pricing Analyst does the price setting of a specific product range for our customers. Additionally the Pricing Analyst challenges margins with the respective account managers. The Pricing Analyst works under the responsibility of the Pricing Manager.

Key responsibiities:

  • Responsible for the price setting of a specific product range
  • Support (and conduct) price and margin negotiations with respective account managers based on margin parameters (SAP)
  • Be in charge of making price quotes, booking contracts and administration of the contract portfolio
  • Prepare all input for the creation of new price lists (SAP)
  • Follow intraday market movements to monitor open price offers
  • Be responsible for maintaining the raw material prices in SAP and conduct price simulations for new product introductions
  • Coordinate with BC internal stakeholders to gather cost information where needed
  • Coordinate with BC internal stakeholders to ensure a timely RM and FX hedging operation
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and analysis 
  • Maintain and update pricing documentation
  • Support pricing projects on ad-hoc basis
  • Join weekly or monthly team calls with wider pricing team

 

 

About you:

 

  • Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance or (Applied) Economics
  • min 2 years of experience in Pricing or Commercial role(s)
  • advanced Excel 
  • Powerpoint, SAP & Salesforce knowledge are a plus but not required
  • Fluent in English
  • Analytical, critical mindset, eye for detail, proactive, autonomous
