We are seeking a dynamic and independent individual for the position of PTP Accountant with Portuguese. You will be responsible for providing full support in the Purchase-to-Pay (PTP) process, catering to clients in the Portuguese market. We expect you to be a professional accountant with excellent proficiency in the Portuguese language.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a proactive manner.
  • Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring its accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and finance, to resolve any PTP-related queries or issues.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of financial reports.
  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the PTP function.
  • Provide support in audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably with exposure to PTP processes.
  • Fluent in both English and Portuguese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail..
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
