For our client - a leading global supplier to the packaging and print media industrie - we are looking for a Regulatory FCM Specialist.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure regulatory compliance of Group raw material and products, worldwide
- Support Customer Regulatory concerning Food Contact Legislation
- Advice R&D, technical, procurement and logistic teams on relevant Food Contact regulations
- Strategically achieve and maintain a balance between regulatory concerns, marketing objectives, time to market, technology, compliance and costs
- Monitor upcoming and new food contact regulations, especially in the US and Asian regions (national legislations)
- Identify business risks and opportunities of new and existing Group products with respect to relevant food contact legislation
- Prepare Group for upcoming food contact regulations, especially in Asia and the America’s
- Manage and support projects to mitigate business risks and realize business opportunities
- Support R&D, technical, procurement and logistic teams in compliance checks of new suppliers, new raw materials and products and movement of goods
- Grow the knowledge infrastructure on Food Contact Legislation worldwide
- Backup and assist Regulatory FCM EMEA Specialists and Toxicologist
- Active participation in Global/Regional Regulatory meetings and related projects
Perfect skills & experience:
- Experience in Food Contact Legislation, especially in Europe and the US (minimum 3 years)
- MSc. in Chemistry or related sciences
- B2/C1 knowledge of English
- Analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills
- Project management skills
- Experience with Chemical Control Regulations - nice to have
