Test Analyst (FTC) – UK & Europe

The Department
Our Group Technology Team is responsible for delivering technology programmes, projects, and business-as-usual support for both internal applications and external customer products. Group Technology supports various market products, including automotive processes such as identification and valuation for sectors like dealerships, insurers, lease providers, fleet managers, and original equipment manufacturers.
The Testing Services team within Group Technology oversees quality assurance activities across the technology delivery lifecycle. This includes providing information that supports release decisions based on knowledge and risk analysis—a critical function of our operations.
The Role
As a Test Analyst within Group Technology, you will be responsible for the design, creation, execution, defect reporting, resolution, and measurement of testing activities. Using appropriate tools and techniques, you will ensure that new and amended software, as well as any interfaces, perform as specified and intended.
Key Responsibilities

Design, create, execute, and measure testing activities.

Report and resolve defects identified during testing.

Ensure new and amended software and interfaces perform as intended.

Collaborate with programme and project delivery teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Adhere to the standards and processes outlined in the Test Policy.

Support defect management and resolution processes during test phases.

Deliver well-documented test assets, test descriptions, and detailed pre-requisites.
The Candidate

Relevant test analyst experience, with knowledge of formal testing methodologies.

Foundation ISTQB qualification.

Strong understanding of known testing and quality assurance processes, including creating test assets and executing tests.

Ability to apply testing best practices, processes, policies, and tools to provide vital information to stakeholders for informed release decisions.

Support defect management and resolution processes for agreed test phases.
-
Deliver high-quality test assets, easily understood test descriptions, and detailed pre-requisites.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across the delivery lifecycle.
