Responsibilities
- Verify and control management fee calculations for funds, ensuring accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Calculate fees for institutional clients, including management fees, rebates, and delegation fees.
- Prepare invoices and statements for fees receivable and payable.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with external partners like fund administrators and depositary banks.
- Provide monthly accrual data for management fees and rebates to the accounting team.
- Approve fee-related invoices in financial systems such as Oracle Cloud.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding fee-related invoices.
- Act as a key point of contact for questions related to fees from internal teams, including sales, client service, and legal.
- Prepare ad hoc analyses and support the implementation of new products or client setups.
- Work closely with stakeholders during onboarding of new funds or clients.
- Maintain and manage documents related to fee structures, such as agreements and contracts.
- Ensure accurate setup and updates in financial systems and fee control tools.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of fee-related IT systems.
- Ensure all activities align with company policies and maintain a strong control environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in financial roles, preferably in the asset management industry or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of fee structures in funds and institutional clients.
- Experience with financial systems and tools, such as Oracle Cloud or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of is an asset.
- High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in an international team environment.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive approach with attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
