Hardware Production Support Engineer – Mechanical
The role acts as a technical link between Manufacturing and Product Engineering, focusing on root cause analysis, mechanical investigations, and implementation of robust corrective actions to improve product reliability and manufacturing performance.
Location : Błonie, mazowieckie
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and resolve mechanical production issues related to design, assembly, materials, and reliability.
- Support root cause investigations and define effective containment and corrective actions.
- Perform tolerance stack-up, mechanical interface, structural robustness, and assembly variation analysis.
- Support Design of Experiments (DoE) and data-driven problem solving.
- Investigate issues related to thermal interfaces, sealing, deformation, warpage, fatigue, and durability.
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and reliability teams.
- Document technical findings and drive improvements into design standards and manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing support, or product development.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design, GD&T, tolerance analysis, materials, and assembly processes.
- Experience with root cause analysis and failure investigation methods.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive electronics or power electronics.
- Knowledge of thermal management, reliability engineering, APQP/PPAP processes.
- Experience supporting manufacturing plants or product launches.
