Senior Android Developer (Remote)

Join a team building one of the largest mobile platforms in Poland, used by millions of customers every day. You'll contribute to the development of a high-scale Android application supporting digital logistics and e-commerce services across European markets.

📍Up to 170 PLN/h + VAT (B2B contract)

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain native Android applications.
Design and implement new features using Kotlin and modern Android technologies.
Ensure application performance, quality, and reliability.
Refactor and optimize existing codebases.
Build and improve mobile CI/CD pipelines.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Android development.
Expert knowledge of Android SDK, Android versions, and device configurations.
Extensive knowledge of build process optimization and CI/CD environments, including GitLab Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or similar solutions, with a focus on high availability and scalability.
Experience working within platform/foundation teams supporting a DevEx culture.
Experience with Android Architecture Components, Jetpack Libraries, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
Experience optimizing mobile applications in Java and Kotlin.
Experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines.
Experience with Firebase configuration.
Experience integrating API interfaces and external services within mobile applications.
Ability to solve problems and propose effective technical solutions.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong attention to detail and focus on solution delivery.
Professional and proactive approach to software development.
Knowledge of software development processes and tools, including Git, Jira, Confluence, and Code Reviews.
Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
Professional English proficiency (minimum B2).

Nice to Have:

Experience working with LLMs / agentic development workflows to accelerate the SDLC.
Hands-on Android WebView development experience – embedding and integrating web content in a native enterprise application: native↔JS bridge, session and authentication handling, navigation, performance, and security hardening.
