Our client is undertaking a critical initiative to upgrade its Finance operations to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring business continuity, compliance, and supporting the company’s strategy for standardization, harmonization, and centralization.

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controlling Transformation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the lead of the “Plan to Decide” process stream—a finance end-to-end process covering planning, procurement, and decision-making workflows—within a global ERP rollout. You will ensure efficient, streamlined processes and optimize the use of SAP CO and SAP IM modules across the organization.

 

Financial Controlling Transformation Specialist

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a stand-in for the Process Stream Lead, supporting oversight of the full finance “Plan to Decide” process while ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Support planning and execution of future roll-out waves for all remaining subsidiaries.
• Ensure successful implementation and optimization of SAP Controlling and Investment Management modules, providing guidance to the team on SAP functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements; develop and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Support relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal business teams, ensuring integration and alignment of processes with business needs.
• Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.

 

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance process management, ideally within end-to-end controlling, procurement, or planning processes, with a proven track record in SAP CO/IM implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Project management skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams; experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel 20-25% of the time.
