Power Converter Control Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Power Converter Control Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating control solutions for advanced power converter systems.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate power converter control algorithms.
• Perform simulations and testing of control systems.
• Support technical problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in engineering reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve product quality and engineering processes.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the power converter industry.
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or Power Electronics (PhD is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of grid-connected converter control, dynamic modeling, controller design, simulation, and testing.
• Experience with PWM strategies, current control, DC voltage control, and active/reactive power control in three-phase converters.
• Understanding of DQ0, sequence, and phasor representations in power systems.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues using structured analysis methods.
• Knowledge of grid codes and compliance assessment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
