RTR / PTP Team Leader – Gdańsk

We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated RTR / PTP Team Leader to join our international finance operations team in Gdańsk. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who combines solid accounting knowledge with strong leadership skills and enjoys working in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Depending on your experience and background, you will be responsible for leading either the Record-to-Report or Procure-to-Pay team. As a Team Leader, you will ensure high-quality service delivery, support team development, and drive continuous improvement across finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team through coaching, feedback sessions, and performance management
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations, including task allocation, workload management, and ensuring business continuity
  • Monitor KPIs and service levels to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality standards
  • Support the team in resolving complex accounting and process-related issues
  • Identify operational risks and implement appropriate solutions
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and support transition or knowledge transfer activities
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes for new team members
  • Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and international business partners
  • Ensure procedures and process documentation remain accurate and up to date
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
  • Previous experience in a Team Leader or supervisory role
  • Practical knowledge of RTR or PTP processes, depending on the team
  • Very good command of English (minimum B2 level)
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent communication and people management skills
  • Proactive mindset, accountability, and strong organisational skills
  • Experience in an SSC/BPO or international environment will be considered an advantage
