Contract of mandate
A mandate agreement is a form of cooperation under civil law in which remuneration is paid for the diligent performance of the tasks entrusted, rather than for a specific result. It does not constitute an employment relationship, which is why most provisions of the Labour Code (including those on leave and working time standards) do not apply to it. As a rule, it entitles the contractor to social security and health insurance, with possible exceptions, e.g. for students.
